I am a certified Strength and Conditioning coach and run Humans of Gaelic Games.

I’ve been coaching for over five years and my business now has over 200,000 followers across our social media channels.

As well as online coaching I currently work as S&C coach with the Tullamore senior footballers, who completed the Offaly three-in-a-row in 2025.

I’ve won three Offaly SFC titles as a player with Tullamore. I worked as a GAA correspondent in the national media for seven years and wrote my first book in 2022.

I also host the Humans of Gaelic podcast where I interview players and coaches on topics related to the human side of elite performance in the GAA.

What if my club S&C already gives us gym work?

It's great you’re in a good environment. But most team plans are built for the group, not the individual. We'll target your weak areas and further develop your strengths.

This coaching is built to complement your team’s sessions, not replace them. You’ll get a plan that fits around your training, plugs your individual gaps, and targets exactly what you need to improve to get noticed on the pitch.

But I can get most of this stuff online for free?

TikTok, ChatGPT and YouTube will give you random drills and sessions. I'll give you a clear plan that stacks your progress week by week - with coaching, check-ins, and real accountability. You won’t waste time guessing what to do for your exact goals or wondering if you’re doing it right.

Is this just lifting weights, or is there speed/fitness work too?

You’ll improve strength, speed, power, and conditioning - all in one system. It's all written from scratch based on what you need. I’ve built this specifically for GAA, so by the end you’ll be moving and performing like a faster, more explosive athlete.

Will this clash with my team training?

The gym and pitch sessions built around your club schedule. Whether you're in pre-season, league, champo, or off-season - I’ll slot it in around your weekly schedule. You won't be training 7 days a week or fatigued for team sessions/games.

I’ve followed programmes before and didn’t get results, how is this different?

Most programmes fail because they’re generic. Everyone gets the same PDF.

This isn’t a plan you download and follow on your own. It’s ongoing coaching.
